La Chambre Du Marais, Paris–Perfect Parisan Escape

Few cities seductively charm visitors like Paris. With its remarkable riverbanks, majestic architecture, diverse culture of arts and history and of course amazing food, The City of Light radiates love and romance.

And now, there’s another reason to become instantly captivated with Paris: La Chambre du Marais . My favorite new spot in the French capital is adding its own element of magic to the popular destination this holiday season.

The 19-room high-end boutique hotel celebrates “Sweet Winter,” and you’re invited! From November 1st to January 7th, La Chambre du Marais will be transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland that is a must see.

Twinkling lights, glittery decor, and gourmet menus galore make the city picture perfect during the holidays, and La Chambre du Marais has made it that much more alluring.

Their two finest suites, La Deluxe de Nancy and La Deluxe de Julien, have been decked out with festive decorations that include a stunning Christmas tree covered with colorful ornaments, and a large selection of perfectly wrapped, complimentary gifts.

So, just because you’re away on vacation doesn’t mean you’ll miss the tradition of opening presents with your loved ones!

But, those aren’t the only rooms that will get you in the holiday spirit. Christmas music subtly plays in the reception lounge, “Bar de la Veuve,” which is also garnished with a colossal trimmed tree, red and gold ribbons and sparkly, pretty wreaths.  Guests are encouraged to sit in the area to enjoy Veuve Clicquot champagne or Maison Monin hot chocolate while relaxing! It’s the ideal setting and ultimate winter escape.

La Chambre du Marais opened its door in June 2016, and has quickly become the place to stay. Located in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, the stylish hotel, which was designed by Philippe Jégou, is within walking distance to Notre Dame and Musée Picasso.

There’s also amazing shopping, art galleries and restaurants conveniently nearby.

Although La Chambre du Marais is a hotel, it actually feels more like a home, which is intentional. When you walk in, you’ll notice there’s no check in desk, and that’s because you’re meant to feel like a guest rather than a customer.

This creates an informal and personable, yet luxurious and sophisticated experience, which is refreshing. The attentive staff members, who all serve as concierges, attend to you immediately, offer you a drink and pastries, and take care of your every need.  The service is impeccable.

Another thing you’ll also notice is the most amazing aroma permeating in the lobby. Pierre Guillaume, founder of Parfumerie Générale, created La Chambre du Marais’ signature blue candle with an exclusive scent, which you can smell the second you enter the lobby. They can be purchased from any employee for $75.

The upscale hotel has so many nice touches that you’ll never want to leave. La Chambre du Marais can arrange for a private driver from Chauffeur-Prive to pick you up from the train station or airport, there is complimentary breakfast every morning, and up to three clothing items will be pressed upon request.

Also, each room is named after someone dear to the owner, and is uniquely different with their own personality. To help you unwind, scented lavender masks are placed on each bed and you will have a Kindle with a selection of music available.

In addition, a Dodow case and stress-relieving drinks are on hand, which is all part of the “dream menu,” and for those traveling with children, V.I.K (very important kid) kits are given, which include a teddy bear and skincare products.

And finally, La Chambre du Marais provides fantastic room service and a delicious three entrée, and three dessert menu, crafted by French Chef, Anne-Sophie Pic, which is available any time throughout the day or evening.

While many hotels around the globe are incredibly jovial and spirited during this time of year, none give as generously to their guests like La Chambre du Marais.  There’s truly nothing better than vacationing in Paris and staying at La Chambre du Marais, where you will experience an unforgettable magical holiday!
